I am really pleased to announce that Toxteth TV in Liverpool will be running Community Reporter Programmes in the near future. They have teamed up with the People’s Voice Media social licence scheme which will support them to operate these programmes.
Clair Heaviside from Toxteth TV said ” It’s great to have the support and experience of People’s Voice Media to help us not only deliver the programme but also work with us on marketing and selling these services. We see this as a great way to increase our income and give a voice to the people of Liverpool 8. “
Community Reporter is a national programme of People’s Voice Media whose goal is to increase local voice of individuals and communities so their perspective can be heard and they can describe their own reality. Gary Copitch Chief Executive of People’s Voice Media said “ The social licence opportunity is a way for organisations not only to develop local voice but also contribute to the growing community reporter network. The goal of 10,000 community reporters will be built with local organisations developing local content . It’s great to be working with Toxteth TV and supporting them to do this. “ For more information on the Social Licence contact Gary Copitch on 0161 7433537
